This Is Jazz-Country!, WJO's fundraising Hippodrome concert for 2022 (on May 7) featured vocalist Holly Tucker.
Holly is an accomplished local singer, a finalist on The Voice, and one-time saxophone student of WJO's Greg Bashara.
Her powerful Country stylings were an exceptionally successful blend with WJO's jazz sound.
The program featured featured jazz standards and jazz versions of Country classics.
WJO's Dave Wild arranged two of Holly's originals, "Rhythm of You" and "You're In Texas", and Holly in turn sang Dave's Latin original "No Se Nada".
